BOMA (Born of Music Addiction) is an electronic music label and platform that connects with its audience through remarkable experiences. It was created for those interested in the history of music, for those who breathe music and want to be part of its future.
For this project, we were invited to create the name and a visual system that could work across platforms.
We kicked off the project by investigating the universe of electronic music and debating how to emphasize BOMA's true and engaging essence throughout the identity.
From the beginning, we identified the opportunity to create a visual system sustained by lively, intense, and bold compositions that could establish an engaging conversation with its audience. For that, we developed a custom-made typeface, BOMA MONO, a font with a dancing personality loaded with energy and attitude, bringing a unique flavor to the brand.
To complement the system, we defined a solid black-and-white palette, a range of lively seals, and a powerful animated expression to create striking compositions with remarkable intensities and possibilities.
The result brings to the market a brand identified by its audience, establishing a relationship of empathy, respect, and belonging with the fundamental purposes of electronic music.
