Ensuring accessibility means recognizing a fundamental right essential to building a more inclusive and anti-ableist world. More than just physical adaptations, accessibility also involves access to culture, education, and communication, promoting the full participation of all individuals.
Recognizing the importance of this topic, Sesc São Carlos held the event “Encontro: Saberes e Acessos” as part of its institutional project “Modos de Acessar.” The initiative encourages society to reflect on the multiple dimensions of accessibility—communicational, attitudinal, and cultural—through dialogue with people with disabilities, reduced mobility, the Deaf community, and neurodivergent individuals.
Our approach begins with a minimalist wordmark that prioritizes legibility and conveys seriousness, aligning with two key pillars promoted by Sesc: accessibility and knowledge.
In the visual universe, the extensive color palette and geometric shapes reflect plurality through their unique characteristics. As they interact, relate, and complement one another, these forms create an inclusive and vibrant space that broadens perspectives and opens new possibilities for coexistence.
Through a visual language closely connected to the essence of the discussion, we created a system that amplifies the event’s powerful narrative while offering a wide range of compositions across all touchpoints.
