Flipco is a company that was born to transform the housing model by offering private rooms to rent in fully furnished houses located in the main cities of the world. Targeted to young professionals, between 25 and 35 years old, the so-called digital nomads, everything happens with no hidden bills and flexible leases. Welcome to shared living!
Departing from the partners’ desire to create something meaningful that transforms the old systems within the coliving industry, we landed on the name: a combination of the word “flip” and the first syllable from “coliving”. The “CO” also reinforces the collaborative side of the project, bringing a friendly yet technological characteristic to the brand.
The wordmark is born with an active voice and a strong will for change. With a custom typeface, while the chopped dots reflect the sense of constant collaboration and sharing, the blocky style boosts the perception of an organized structure.
By intentionally chopping the titles and placing them unaligned in the compositions, the visual identity system generates a restless yet strong grid structure, where shapes and small texts can play around. At the center of this dynamic and vibrant system are two visual moments.
The first one is called Talking Dots: a diverse range of unique illustrations based on circles and a well-structured grid. They can be incorporated into the layouts as part of the composition or used independently as large icons. The second is the Moving Dots. Used to bring flow and movement to the compositions, they are a graphical representation of collaboration, connectivity, and interactivity.
When all the elements are put together, they generate a lively environment, establishing a direct relationship with the logo, and helping the brand increase its awareness within the market.
